Create school and classes
First the framework takes shape: classes, courses and teachers. Existing lists can be imported, so nobody has to retype names. Who holds which role at the school is settled from the very beginning.

Bring in the plans
Timetables and cover plans are imported from the planning program you already use. The software does not replace that planning, it distributes the result to everyone it concerns: staff, parents and pupils.

Invite parents
Parents and pupils join via an invitation link, with no paper form and no database work in the office. Anyone who does not use digital access stays reachable the way they were before.

School organisation rarely fails at individual tasks; it fails at the transitions between them. An absence is reported by phone, ends up on a slip of paper and has to be copied into the class register by hand. A parent letter goes out as a file by email, the replies come back on paper and are ticked off a list. Every one of these transitions costs time and produces errors. School organisation software closes those gaps because all areas work on the same data: whoever reports sick is immediately marked absent in the class register; whoever gives consent is counted in the responses; whoever books a slot blocks it for everyone else. The office deals with fewer queries, and the staff room has fewer channels to check each day.
Data protection as a deal breaker
For whoever runs a school, data protection usually decides the question before the feature list does. Schools process names, addresses, absences and health notes about minors; private chat groups and freely chosen cloud services are not a suitable place for that. SchuleVernetzt therefore works with a data processing agreement, with servers inside the EU, in Germany, and with a role concept that shows each person exactly what their task requires: the class teacher sees their own class, the office sees the administrative area, parents see only their own children. Retention and deletion follow periods you enter once, aligned with the education law your school sits under. These points belong in every review before software is introduced.

New software must not bring the running school day to a halt. That is why SchuleVernetzt first adds what is missing anyway instead of replacing what works: timetables and cover plans still come from the familiar planning program and are only imported. The rest grows in whatever order suits the school. Because the app runs in the browser and on a phone, no new hardware is needed and nothing has to be installed on the school network. For families without a smartphone the previous route stays open; nobody is shut out. The way back stays open too, because your own data can be exported – the school is not tied to a decision that may feel different later.
