SchuleVernetzt has not launched yet, so this page deliberately carries no amounts – a figure before launch is a promise nobody can keep. What is already settled is the model: for individual teachers SchuleVernetzt stays permanently free. A school pays one price for every module rather than for separate building blocks, that price follows the size of the school, and there is an upper limit. Once the launch date is set, the amounts appear here – and everyone on the waiting list hears them first.

Every module, one price

A school does not book class register, cover planning and parent letters separately. It books SchuleVernetzt, and everything belongs to it.

    Choose a plan

    There are three: free for individual teachers, one for a whole school, and one for authorities connecting several schools into a network.

    The number of pupils sets the price. Not the number of modules, not the number of accounts, not the number of sites.

    Class register, sick notes, cover planning, parent communication, consultation days, grades and report cards belong to the plan. There is nothing to add on.

Why the model looks like this

What a kit of modules costs in practice

The common route in the school market is module-by-module billing: class register, sick notes, parent letters, cover planning, grades and report cards are separate items with separate prices, on top of which sit volume discounts that only apply from a certain number of booked modules. That is reasonable for the vendor and laborious for the school. Anyone wanting to know what a complete digital school day costs clicks through a long list and adds it up. Anyone needing one more module the following year negotiates again. And anyone who did not book a feature usually notices on the day they need it. A plan that includes everything does not solve this by being cheaper, but by making the question disappear.

Why school size and not module count

If the price is tied to the number of booked modules, a small primary school with the full feature set pays the same as a large secondary school with the full feature set. That hits the small ones harder, even though they have the smaller budget. Tie the price to the number of pupils instead and every school pays in proportion to its size. Without a counterweight that model would have the opposite fault: a very large school would eventually pay more than any flat rate. This is why the ceiling is not optional. It is not a discount to be negotiated but a property of the model – the amount at which the bill stops growing is fixed and applies to everyone.

When the amounts appear here

SchuleVernetzt is before launch. While that is true, any figure on this page would be a commitment with no contract behind it, and we think publishing a number and correcting it later is the worse route. So the sequence is this: as soon as the launch date is set, the amounts for all three plans are published here, together with the ceiling and the billing period. Anyone on the waiting list receives that by email beforehand and therefore has time to take it into budget planning before it is public. Until then, for planning purposes: the teacher plan costs nothing, and for a school the amount depends on school size and is capped at the top.

What this means for the budget

A school needs a number it can write into a budget, not a formula with several unknowns. That is why the price hangs on exactly one figure every school already knows, and why there is a ceiling: beyond a certain size the bill stays the same no matter how many classes are added. As for the amounts, we name them at launch – not before, and then visibly, right here.

Common questions about pricing

Because the product has not launched. An amount on a marketing page is an offer, and an offer before launch is one we cannot yet honour. We would rather set out the model in full and give the amounts when they apply, than publish a number that still moves before the start.

Yes. A single teacher can keep their classes, absences and grades free of charge, permanently. That commitment is part of the model, not part of an introductory offer. If the school later adopts SchuleVernetzt together, it turns into the full feature set at no extra cost.

Nothing. Access for staff, parents and learners is included in the school price. There is no per-person licence, no tier based on active users and no setup fee.

Per school year rather than per calendar month – that is the period a school plans in. The plan for individual teachers is not billed at all, because it costs nothing.

Existing classes stay usable; only creating new ones is blocked. Class register entries are pupil data, and locking them away because a contract ended would be withholding data. A full export of your own data is part of it too.

Yes, that is the third plan. It is aimed at authorities wanting to connect several schools into a network – with a shared cover pool, joint courses and an overview across every school involved. A single school can also join an existing network without being an authority itself.
