What belongs in every parent letter
The six blocks of a template
Every usable parent letter template rests on the same six blocks: subject, greeting, occasion, details, call to action and sign-off. The subject names the topic and the class so that the letter can be found again later. The greeting stays short. The occasion belongs right at the front in one or two sentences, never at the end. The details belong in bullet points: date, place, meeting point, duration and things to bring. The call to action names exactly one action with a date. The generator above fills that structure automatically: you add the class, the subject and your message, and you get a text that is already built correctly and only needs checking for content.
Three occasions, three patterns
The template knows three occasions, because parent letters differ in how they are built. The general parent letter informs and needs no answer; it ends with an invitation to ask questions. The school trip letter needs a binding commitment and therefore a deadline and a slip to return. The invitation to a parents' evening names the date, the place and the agenda, and invites people to come. Choose the matching occasion and the template inserts the sentences that go with it. You can then shorten, extend or rephrase the generated text freely in the field until it fits your class and the tone of your school.
From the pattern to the sent letter
A pattern solves the writing problem, not the distribution problem. On paper, a finished text still has to be printed, handed out and chased up, and slips have to be collected, part of which never come back. With SchuleVernetzt the same letter goes digitally to the class: parents read it in the portal, you see for each legal guardian who has opened it, and where needed you attach a reply, for instance an acknowledgement, a yes or no, a choice or a signature. Separated parents receive the same letter at the same time, without one parent having to forward it. Sending runs through a closed channel hosted in Germany rather than through a private messenger.
